George Grosz (1893-1959) A German artist who became an American citizen in 1933. He worked in many styles, but I guess you could call this “expressionist.”
I was going to say it looks like something in between Otto Dix, and Franz Marc, or early Kandinsky… which I wouldn’t have been a bad guess I suppose, now that I’ve looked up this George Grosz.
